The player's score is tallied via symbols during gameplay, which is then converted into points at the end of the run, during which bonus points may also be rewarded. Successful actions will help Vibri recover back to her higher forms, and clearing enough obstacles in succession while in rabbit form will evolve Vibri into an angel, increasing the player's score until Vibri is hit. Getting hit too many times while in worm form will end the game. Getting hit by obstacles too many times will degenerate Vibri from a rabbit into a frog, followed by a worm. Not pushing a button at the right time turns Vibri into a scribbled version of herself temporarily. Sometimes two obstacles will be merged, requiring the player to press two buttons at the same time (for example, a block and pit combination will require players to press L and Down together). There are four basic obstacles block, loop, wave, and pit, which require players to press the L, R, X, or Down buttons respectively at the right time to navigate. Let me know if you want any more tests or log information or some such, if it will help you in any way.Vib Ribbon is a rhythm game in which players guide the main character, Vibri, across a line filled with obstacles tied in correspondence to the beat of the song. Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it. So the moral of the story: Dont buy cheap hardware off amazon. The usb drive was able to read the disks weel enough for ePSXe, but it appears not for the ripping process. To test I then plugged the USB drive into the laptop and got the same issue as seen before where it couldnt apparently figure out the disk. I loaded ImgBurn on an old laptop running windows7 (with an internal drive) and everything worked fine (iso ripped and runs in ePSXe). OK, so the culprit is definitely the cheap USB drive I was using. I can load ImgBurn on an old laptop, see if the problem stems from the usb disk drive. Granted, I've never encountered errors like the ones you posted before in such instances. If LUK can't suss this out, it's something you may want to try. It always worked for PS1 games that wouldn't for me in ImgBurn.

When I encounter one such disc, I use Alcohol 120% Free to read those to image files. Some PS1 games cannot be read by ImgBurn and some combinations of drives.
